Skills England has confirmed that the Level 4 Associate Ambulance Practioner Apprenticeship has been approved, with registrations starting in June 2027. Further information on the Apprenticeship can be found via this link.
A big thanks to IAA Non-executive Director Andy Ware, for his work on the Skills for Health Apprenticeship Steering Group, and IAA Member companies who’ve contributed to the development of the standard and ensure that the role the independent sector in providing services is recognised.
Work on developing Ambulance Apprenticeships will now focus on the Level 3 Emergency Support Worker, and a Level 3 in Non-Emergency Patient Transport.
